Job Description
Join Optum as a Patient Care Coordinator in Las Vegas, where you will enhance patient experiences by managing appointments and assisting with office tasks. Be part of a diverse team dedicated to improving health outcomes and advancing equity in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and check in patients, collecting necessary information
Confirm patient eligibility and benefits
Make, verify, and schedule appointments
Collect patient co-pays and reconcile daily collections
Reschedule patient appointments as needed
Assist team members with duties as assigned
Complete daily tasks and email communications
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
CPR Certified or willing to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
2+ years of medical office experience
2+ years of experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
Intermediate proficiency with PC computers including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to travel to other practices if needed
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish/English
