Key Responsibilities
Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures.
Communicate with patients and loved ones for reassurance.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage the scene and unit.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
CA State Paramedic License
CA State Driver’s License
BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS certification
Driving record compliant with company policy
Pass Physical Agility Test
ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800 certifications
CA Ambulance Driver's License
Medical Examiner's Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
Some work experience, preferably healthcare
