Job Description
Join CHRISTUS Health as a Clinical Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, where you will coordinate vital patient care and ensure quality standards are met. This role requires effective communication and a commitment to treating everyone with respect while working in a dynamic and sometimes challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and implement patient care specific to age of patient population
Ensure quality care is provided efficiently and safely
Demonstrate effective work habits and clinical practice
Treat staff, physicians, patients, and families with respect
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing
Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
BLS Certification required or within 2 weeks of hire
Current knowledge and skills appropriate to age/type of patient population served
Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients’ rights in the delivery of care
Clear communication skills appropriate to developmental age of patient
