Job Description

Join Staples as a Business Development Representative in Field Sales, where you will drive new business revenue and build strategic partnerships in the Los Angeles area. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new revenue from new customers and build programs for sales growth
  • Build territory strategy and analyze performance to meet revenue goals
  • Qualify prospects and route opportunities
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with prospective customers
  • Utilize marketing collateral for presentations
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
  • Create and present custom pricing solutions
  • Leverage education contracts for customer acquisition
  • Ensure smooth transitions to account management
  • Meet and exceed quotas and key metrics
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Seek continuous improvement and apply coaching
  • Impact team culture positively

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years sales experience
  • 6 months of relevant experience in the public sector
  • Ability to cover a territory of Los Angeles, CA and surrounding Southern CA area
  • Approximately 50% travel required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven business development experience
