Medical Lab Technician - Travel Position
Location: Ogden, UT
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8s
Pay: $1919/week
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform diagnostic testing and provide accurate, timely results to support patient care. The MLT will collect, process, and analyze specimens while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is organized, precise, and committed to laboratory excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, prepare, and analyze patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.).
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests according to protocols.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.
Record and interpret test results, reporting findings to physicians and healthcare providers.
Adhere to infection control, safety, and quality assurance procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and assist with laboratory inventory management.
Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
State licensure
BLS certification, COVID vaccine, TB test
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience
