Job Description
Join The Jewish Board's Children's Mobile Crisis Team as a Crisis Behavioral Health Clinician, providing critical crisis interventions to children and young adults in need. You'll work collaboratively to ensure effective treatment and support within the Staten Island community while enjoying comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CMCT email and respond within 2 hours of receiving a crisis referral
Perform risk assessments and psychosocial evaluations
Create safety plans with clients and families
Develop and implement short-term service plans
Utilize evidence-based practices for clinical interventions
Maintain case documentation in electronic health record system
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
Assist with intake process for new consumers
Enhance communication with consumer families
Required Qualifications
Licensed Mental Health clinician
Valid NYS Driver's License
Minimum of one year of relevant experience with similar client population
Proficient reading and writing English
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-lingual clinicians
