Floating Requirements: Riley Hospital for Children and IU Health North Hospital, may float outside of NICU to units within scope of practice
Staffing Ratios: 1:1/2 or 3
Minimum Experience Required: 3 Years
Unit Information: Riley Hospital NICU is #15 in the Nation per USNWR. Riley Maternity Tower NICU is state of the art, new NICU that opened in November, 2021. They are a delivery center and care for babies that need medical care, prematurity, and mixed acuity. Simon Family Tower NICU is a state of the art, level 4 NICU which cares for mixed acuity babies requiring surgical and medical care as well as advanced therapies such as ECMO. Both units have multiple ancillary support services and a milk bank.
