ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Auburn, WA 98001 (Washington healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 15 weeks (October 6, 2025 – January 17, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780–$1910
• Employment Type: Travel RN
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
• Unit: Nursing Resource (float to ICU, PCU, ED overflow)
• Scrubs: Any color (navy blue preferred, no camo)

ICU RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Washington RN license preferred)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CCRN preferred)
• Proficient with EPIC EMR (required for ICU nurse jobs)
• Strong clinical skills: cardiac rhythm interpretation, telemetry monitoring, ventilator/trach and BiPAP management, invasive line management, ostomy care, general drains, chest tubes, IV medication titration
• Ability to act as lead RN in ED holding as needed
• First-time travel nurses welcome to apply

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Float throughout Auburn and Covington facilities to provide care for ICU and PCU-level patients
• Spend majority of time (75%) with PCU-level patients in ED overflow
• Care for diverse patient populations: respiratory failure, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, DKA, sepsis, post-op, CVAs, ETOH, overdose
• Utilize EPIC for clinical documentation and Alaris/Pyxis equipment for patient care
• Participate in weekend rotations and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment
