Join Lincoln Electric as a Plant Mechanical Engineer and support the Plant Engineering department in enhancing manufacturing processes. You'll tackle technical challenges and ensure equipment meets safety and productivity standards, contributing to the company's sustainability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate to execute capital projects in manufacturing facilities
Responsible for mechanical aspects of projects
Develop engineering solutions for equipment reliability and safety
Create and maintain sustainable documentation
Design solutions that comply with ISO 14001 and EHS initiatives
Provide capital cost estimates and establish project timelines
Specify and solicit equipment quotations
Deliver technical support to Production and Maintenance departments
Coordinate with process engineering and supply management teams
Work with and manage outside engineering personnel
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
3+ years' experience for level II Engineer
5+ years' experience for level III Engineer
Strong desire to take ownership of tasks
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Good judgment and self-motivation
Commitment to safety
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Flexibility to handle diverse assignments
Hands-on work capability
Technically proficient in CAD modeling
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Solid Edge or AutoCAD
Willingness to work off shifts and travel
