Job Description
Join Boeing as a Millwright A and leverage your expertise in rigging and machinery installation to lead a team while ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This role involves hands-on work with heavy equipment and mentoring lower-classification employees, all within a collaborative environment committed to excellence in aviation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high rigging for construction, millwright, and maintenance work
Lead and check work of lower-classification employees
Work from blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructions
Rig block and tackle and other moving aids
Operate powered rolling equipment and cranes
Determine work sequence and troubleshoot problems
Use hand signals to direct cranes and forklifts
Lock out, tag out, and try out machinery
Move, set up, and level machines
Perform demolition projects and excavation work
Fabricate steel cables and perform concrete work
Operate lifts and material handling equipment
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions
3+ years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
3+ years of experience using precision measuring tools and equipment
3+ years of experience using hand tools and/or hand-held power tools
3+ years of experience lifting and rigging for construction, millwright, and maintenance work
Ability to push, pull, move 35 pounds
Ability to complete fall protection certification
Preferred Qualifications
Material Handling Experience and knowledge of Roto hammer fastening equipment
Experience with condition-based maintenance (CMMS) software
