A Surgical Technologist assists in surgical operations by preparing and maintaining sterile environments, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready and properly handled. They work closely with the surgical team to support procedures in ambulatory surgery centers, demonstrating strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient care management. This role requires certification, experience in multiple surgical specialties, and excellent communication and teamwork skills to adapt to dynamic surgical settings.

 Surgical Technologist/Scrub Tech 
 The Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities. Anticipates the needs of the surgical team. Establishes and maintains sterile field during surgical procedures in the operating room.
