Job Description
Join DMC Harper University Hospital as a Radiology Technologist, where you'll perform diagnostic imaging exams in a leading healthcare facility known for its clinical excellence. This role involves interacting with patients, operating advanced imaging technologies, and contributing to the quality of care in a supportive environment.
Verify patient identity and review medical records
Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history
Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits
Set up equipment and acquire images
Review images and document findings
Provide post-care instructions to patients
Participate in process improvement activities
Provide imaging education to residents and new employees
Required Qualifications
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (RT) or Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiovascular-Interventional (CV)
Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification (PALS)
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology
