Key Responsibilities
Schedule procedures and perform computer data entry for pH studies
Assist in the procedure room and with patient admission
Clean and disinfect scopes, prepare equipment for sterilization, and maintain disinfection logs
Track repairs and maintain supplies for procedure rooms
Required Qualifications
Completion of a Surgical Technology, Anesthesia Technologist, Certified Nurse Assistant or Medical Assistant program
Washington Medical Assistant Certification or Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License or Washington Surgical Technologist Registration upon hire
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
National Certified Endoscope Reprocessor or National Flexible Endoscope Reprocessors Certification within 1 year of hire
One year of experience in a medical setting as a Surgical Technologist, Anesthesia Technologist, Nursing Assistant, or Certified Medical Assistant
Basic computer skills for data entry
Ability to read, write and understand English
Basic math aptitude and knowledge of units of measurement
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of infection control procedures
Knowledge of microorganisms, disease transmission, and prevention of cross-contamination
Knowledge of scopes and accessories for endoscopic procedures
Experience in scheduling procedures and assisting in the procedure room
