Travel RN – Operating Room – Bridgeport, CT
Start Date: September 22, 2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Days – 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (occasional 1:00 PM–11:30 PM)
Hours: 36–40 per week (3x12s / 40 hrs as scheduled)
On-Call: Required (see below)
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Bridgeport, Connecticut . This position is at a Level II Trauma Center with a diverse surgical case mix.
Circulate and assist in trauma, orthopedic, spine, and vascular surgeries
Support both endovascular and open vascular surgical procedures
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care
Document accurately in EPIC EMR ; use Surgi-Count and TECSYS systems
Take part in call rotation as assigned
Current Connecticut RN license
BLS certification required
2+ years of OR experience preferred
Endovascular and open vascular surgery experience required (not cardiac open heart)
Trauma/ortho/spine/vascular OR experience required
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
EPIC, Surgi-Count, and TECSYS experience preferred
Schedule: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (occasional 1:00 PM–11:30 PM; ~30% of shifts over 13 weeks)
Hours: 36–40 per week
Call Requirements: 6 weekday calls + 6 weekend calls per 6-week schedule
Duration: 13 weeks
