Job Description
Join Mission Hospital as a Nurse Educator and enhance professional practice through evidence-based educational programs. This role involves onboarding new nurses and healthcare personnel, fostering professional competency, and promoting continuous improvement in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, manage, and evaluate onboarding and orientation programs for nursing and healthcare personnel
Design educational activities to address practice gaps
Promote evidence-based practice to improve patient care
Identify strategies for lifelong learning
Conduct research and quality improvement in patient care settings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Currently licensed as an RN in the state of practice
Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
2+ years of experience in clinical education, CSC, academia or leadership
2+ years of experience in acute care hospital
Nationally Recognized Specialty certification
