Job Description
Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Speech Language Pathologist to provide home-based outpatient therapy and support to adults and seniors, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role emphasizes one-on-one care and empowers clients to live independently.
Key Responsibilities
Make facility visits to clients in designated geographic territories
Perform thorough evaluations to assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for clients
Develop a treatment plan based on evaluations and physician’s orders
Continually assess and revise the speech therapy care plan
Educate patients and family members in rehabilitative care
Accurately document observations and interventions
Required Qualifications
Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in NJ
Certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent educational requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Solid computer skills
Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
