Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Antenna and Microwave Engineer and leverage your expertise in RF/Microwave systems to design innovative solutions. This role involves hands-on testing of microwave components and leading teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design RF microwave components and phased array applications
Integrate and test component level and system level phased array hardware
Provide technical support to production activities
Lead team in cost and schedule management plus proposal writing and presentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum of five years of relevant experience
Microwave/RF system, subsystem and component analysis, design and test
Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, Mentor Graphics’ Xpedition, and analytical tools such as Matlab
Preferred Qualifications
Background designing and testing analog CCAs including frequency conversion, automatic gain control, amplifier design and analog filter design
Understanding of allocating and flowing down requirements from the system to the component level
Knowledge of cost estimating, plus budget and schedule management
Strong academic background in Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory and Radar Systems
Hands-on experience with microwave testing techniques using spectrum analyzers, RSAs, VNAs and PNAs
