Job Description

The Residence Manager oversees the smooth operation of a residential program for adults with developmental disabilities. This role is crucial for providing training, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff, all while upholding the organization's values and mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the residential program
  • Provide training and supervision to staff
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Schedule activities and trips for residents
  • Maintain communication with families
  • Participate in recruitment and performance evaluations
  • Manage staff scheduling and on-call responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Human Services
  • 3 years working with the IDD Population
  • 6 years of supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Orthodox Jewish Practices
