Job Description
Join Kaiser as a Licensed Masters Mental Health Professional, where you will provide vital mental health services to children and adolescents. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective treatment programs, ensure patient care, and support families in their mental health journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Develops, implements, coordinates, and evaluates clinical treatment programs
Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, and maintains confidential records
Collaborates with physicians on psychotropic medications
Supervises Post Masters Fellows and Associate Clinical staff as needed
Reports safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare from a clinical track, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) with Couples and Families Endorsement within 24 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiarity with DSM-V
Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric conditions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards
Preferred Qualifications
Previous post-license experience in psychiatric treatment team settings
Previous clinical responsibility in crisis intervention and psychotherapy
Demonstrated commitment to quality of service and teamwork
Ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner
