Job Description

Join Sysco’s World Class Sales Team as a Sales Representative, where you will promote products and build relationships with customers while achieving sales goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts
  • Seek and qualify prospects
  • Research customer business needs and develop product/service mixes
  • Evaluate market trends and recommend products to customers
  • Answer customer inquiries about products and prices
  • Provide training to customer personnel
  • Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts
  • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order process issues
  • Participate in company functions and customer events
  • Engage in ongoing training sessions
  • Assist with training of new employees
  • Perform administrative duties related to sales

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline
  • HSD/GED and 3 years of Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience
  • Completion of the Sysco Sales Internship
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Current automobile insurance with specified limits

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bi-Lingual
  • Restaurant Management experience
  • Foodservice Outside Sales experience
  • Chef Experience
