Join Raytheon as a Senior Hardware Design & Test Engineer, where you will design and test RF and microwave components, ensuring high-quality production and continuous improvement across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Support technical investigation and resolution of design and test issues
RF/Microwave circuit and subsystem design, modeling, simulation, and verification
Integration and testing at component, CCA, and subsystem levels
Transition to production and provide technical support to manufacturing
Participate in design updates to resolve obsolescence and producibility issues
Required Qualifications
Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
Minimum 5 years’ work experience or Advanced degree with 3 years’ experience
Experience with Microwave/RF system analysis, design, and/or test
Experience in failure analysis/Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with testing and troubleshooting RF and Microwave components
Background in designing for manufacturability and cost constraints
Technical writing and formal presentation experience
Experience in engineering design and production environments
Familiarity with tools like Mentor Graphics, PSPICE, MATLAB, and CST
