Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Med-Surg Registered Nurse to join our team for an 8-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and recovery. Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the medical-surgical unit. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation. Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies. Provide compassionate support to patients and families during their hospital stay. Qualifications: Current RN license in the state of assignment or compact license. Minimum of 2 years of recent Med-Surg nursing experience. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
