Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with therapy activities and exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist
Monitor and record therapy services for patients with physical, cognitive, and developmental impairments
Select and implement therapeutic activities and interventions
Document patient responses and communicate with the supervising physical therapist
Adhere to clinical practice guidelines and standards
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program
Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Valid driver's license
