Job Description

Join Fisher Industries as a Geotechnical Engineering Quality Control Technician, where you will ensure the quality of aggregates, asphalt, and concrete through rigorous testing. This role involves travel to job sites, maintaining safety standards, and collaborating with various professionals to deliver reliable infrastructural solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform aggregate, asphalt, and/or concrete laboratory testing
  • Gather, test and log samples of material
  • Perform field testing at project sites
  • Interact professionally with client representatives and co-workers
  • Adhere to safety and protective equipment policies
  • Maintain accurate testing records
  • Assist in research and data collection
  • Obtain and maintain required certifications
  • Safely operate nuclear gauge
  • Accept guidance from senior personnel
  • Maintain qualifications to operate company vehicles
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Geotechnical Experience
  • Required ATTI Certifications
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy
  • Self-starter with limited supervision
  • Basic math skills
  • Good communication and computer skills
  • Ability to lift and move up to 65 lbs
  • Ability to work under adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year of previous experience in aggregate, asphalt, and/or concrete related lab and field testing
  • Job related certifications
