Job Description
Join Cargill as an Industrial Electrical Technician to help build a sustainable future while working with a global team. This role involves operating machinery, performing maintenance, and ensuring safety in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate heavy machinery (such as forklift) or computer programs
Use tools and retrieve parts for general repairs and maintenance of equipment
Conduct daily set-up of area
Troubleshooting
Perform lock out tag out and other safety procedures
Maintain written and digital documentation
Work around or with machinery and power sources such as electricity
Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping
Maintain a safe working environment
Perform any other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Legal to work in the US
18 yrs old or older
Read, write, and speak English
Basic math which includes fractions and algebra
Knowledge of basic tools and maintenance related subjects
Must be able to write and read in the prevalent language of technical literature utilized at the facility
Willingness and ability to participate on various teams such as HAZMAT
Must be able to attain the refrigeration/Caro and Ciro certifications
Preferred Qualifications
Previous Cargill experience
Computer skills
Previous ammonia refrigeration or PSM experience
