Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in-home for older adults
Organize and conduct occupational therapy programs
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and students as necessary
Ensure adherence to treatment schedules and documentation requirements
Attend patient care and staffing conferences
Consult with rehabilitation team members for comprehensive care
Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses and treatment plans
Design and apply adaptive devices and train patients in their use
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license in the state of practice
Valid driver's license or reliable transportation
