Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for complex patients transported by air or ground ambulance
Utilize knowledge of pharmacology and advanced skills
Enhance care for critically ill or severely injured patients
Make independent decisions in unique medical environments
Required Qualifications
BSN required
Minimum three years critical care experience (ICU or ED)
One year of ICU experience
Certification in CEN, CCRN, or CFRN
ACLS, PALS, and CPR certification
CT and RI Paramedic License
Advanced skills: endotracheal intubation, cricothyroidotomy, pericardiocentesis, peripheral and central venous access, intraosseous infusion, umbilical venous catheterization, needle thoracotomy
