Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading
  • Load and unload agricultural inputs from railcars and/or trucks
  • Conduct and properly record repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Monitor and maintain quality of inventory
  • Deliver products such as fertilizer, chemical, seed, and feed
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
  • Keep work areas and vehicles in a clean, orderly and safe condition
  • Perform grounds maintenance including snow removal
  • Perform warehouse work including driving loader and forklift operation
  • Report customer complaints and safety concerns to supervisor
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and follow safety policies

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Trucking Operations
  • Class A CDL or willing to obtain
  • Must meet minimum age requirement
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
  • Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands
  • Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
  • Valid Class A CDL preferred
  • Agriculture background preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred
