Job Description
Join CarMax as an Automotive Painter where you'll be responsible for the complete paint application and minor repairs on vehicles. You will ensure quality standards are met while providing excellent service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Complete paint application and minor repairs
Perform paint preparation including color matching and mixing
Ensure vehicles meet CarMax Paint Standards
Maintain and clean painting equipment
Ensure proper inventory levels of tools and protective equipment
Provide outstanding customer service
Complete assigned duties by managers
Required Qualifications
Complete CarMax provided training in all functional areas of reconditioning process
Meet Cosmetic Reconditioning Associate II, Flow Inventory Associate II, Senior Reconditioning Associate, and Senior Reconditioning Associate I Performance Standards
Read, interpret and transcribe data to maintain accurate records
Discern appropriate paint colors for reconditioning vehicles
Lift objects weighing up to 50lbs
Effective communication skills in person and over the phone
