Join MUSC as a Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer II, where you'll provide high quality echocardiograms for pediatric patients. This role allows you to work independently in a dynamic environment, contributing to critical diagnoses and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high quality echocardiograms for interpretation and diagnosis
Perform clinical Pediatric Echo operations in the hospital and procedural setting
Enter full preliminary reports
Organize and prioritize patient exams
Contribute to unit teamwork
Take call for the Pediatric Echo Lab
Required Qualifications
Graduation from a Cardiovascular/Ultrasound program or equivalent experience
Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a RDCS or RCCS certification
Two years minimum pediatric echocardiography work experience
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamics, and complex congenital heart disease
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Fetal Echocardiography (FE)
Associate of Arts/Science or Bachelor's degree
Fetal Echo and research experience
Echocardiography experience in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Cath Lab
