Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Provide direct patient care in PCU, including comprehensive assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care
  • Monitor, interpret, and respond to changes in patients’ clinical status, including telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Administer and titrate vasoactive medications, pressors, and other high-alert IV drips as per physician orders
  • Manage respiratory support modalities including High Flow oxygen and BiPAP therapy
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans
  • Float to Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed, adapting to different patient populations and workflows
  • Perform and document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record in a timely and accurate manner
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, procedures, and discharge plans
  • Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and hospital compliance standards
  • Participate in unit-based and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives

Experience Required: 3–5 years recent inpatient experience (minimum 2 years PCU & MS/Tele in Trauma Level 1 facility) BLS (AHA)
