Overview of Unit/Department
As a Clinic Patient Throughput Facilitator, you’ll work one-on-one with a single provider on a consistent schedule, fostering a close working relationship while mastering real-time documentation and clinical workflows. With exposure to specialties like family medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and orthopedics, this role offers invaluable insight into the world of medicine and patient care.
Job Summary
Assist the physician throughout all aspects of care with navigating orders, data entry, consults; tracking and documenting procedures and results.
Job Requirements
Education
Required: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience
Previous experience as EMT, PCA, or healthcare student in nursing, physician assistant, or pre-med or equivalent training including medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and computer skills preferred.
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exhibits valuable time management skills
Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.
