Job Description

Join Boeing as an Experienced Systems Engineer, where you will lead integration, verification, and validation efforts for complex systems. Collaborate with diverse teams to tackle innovative challenges in aerospace, ensuring compliance with regulations and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the KC-46 model for in-service, in-production, and development issues
  • Lead cross-functional teams for engineering design and retrofit changes
  • Resolve complex issues to deliver airplanes and mitigate risks
  • Manage technical integration and project management for delivery sustainability
  • Conduct investigations to ensure system integration and compliance
  • Enhance business tools and processes for efficient engineering performance
  • Communicate with internal and external customers and regulators

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in complex engineering or integration work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with project management skills
  • Ability to communicate complex scenarios effectively
  • Strong project and risk management skills
  • Competence in systems thinking and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of the larger role of function in airplane systems
  • Previous integration or project lead experience
  • Production or Flight Test experience
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations
  • Experience leading engineering projects and test activities
  • Flexibility and adaptability in work
  • Ability to foster a productive team environment
