Job Description
Join GXO as a Maintenance Technician on the 1st shift, where you'll ensure facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards. In this role, you'll perform diverse maintenance duties, including troubleshooting, repairing equipment, and implementing new processes, all within a supportive and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment
Maintain Chucks, 6 River mobile pick units, etc.
Repair and maintain a wide variety of facility equipment
Perform advanced plumbing work, including installing, repairing and replacing plumbing fixtures
Complete necessary preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities
Assist in the implementation of new processes and equipment
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of and experience reading simple electrical, mechanical and pneumatic drawings
Microsoft Office experience
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree, specialized vocational training or equivalent education and experience in product maintenance
Active Journeyman license
2 years of facility maintenance experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills
Experience with tools and equipment used in building maintenance, reconstruction and repair work
Experience using drawings, manuals and diagrams to coordinate and complete installation of equipment and components according to specifications
Excellent communication skills with managers, employees and vendors
