Join BioLife Plasma Services as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and play a crucial role in supporting plasma center operations. You'll be responsible for donor eligibility assessments and managing medical aspects of plasma donation, all while contributing to life-changing medicines and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Determine donor eligibility for plasma donation
Manage donor adverse events and notify unsuitable test results
Conduct medical history interviews and physical examinations
Evaluate donor reactions and follow applicable SOPs for emergencies
Support vaccination programs and manage employee incidents
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Licensed or certified as LPN or LVN in the state of assignment
Current CPR and AED certification
Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy
Two years in a clinical or hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with regulations of the plasma collection industry or manufacturing environment
Completion of FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
