Key Responsibilities
Supervise a small group of physical therapists, aides, and students
Evaluate and treat a broad spectrum of patients
Communicate with staff members, physicians, and other disciplines
Complete required administrative forms and documentation
Administer comprehensive PT evaluations and develop treatment plans
Educate patients and families on self-care and wellness
Participate in team meetings and educational training
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an approved school of Physical Therapy
At least one year of experience in the class of Physical Therapist I
BLS - Basic Life Support Certification
Current Licensure with the California Board of Physical Therapy
Preferred Qualifications
Two years or more of recent experience in another clinical setting related to the area of proposed supervision (acute medical, rehab, SNF, or outpatient)
