Job Description
Join Verizon as an Outside Plant Technician and ensure our outside plant facilities operate at maximum efficiency. Be part of a team that values innovation and excellence in maintaining America's fastest and most reliable network.
Key Responsibilities
Placing, rearranging and removing outside plant cables and poles
Connecting wires and cables to terminals
Reading and interpreting engineering work orders
Performing construction work using designated equipment
Operating Company motor vehicles
Climbing ladders and poles, working aloft
Working evenings, weekends, holidays and unscheduled shifts
Required Qualifications
Valid state drivers license with a satisfactory driving record
CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL
Preferred Qualifications
A related Associate Degree
2 or more years of relevant work experience
