Job Description

Join Riderwood Village as a Sous Chef and lead a dedicated culinary team in creating exceptional dining experiences. With a focus on teamwork and innovation, you'll manage kitchen operations and ensure high-quality meal service in a vibrant community setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervises scheduling, training, and discipline of culinary and utility staff
  • Oversees culinary functions in the Chef’s absence, including staffing and food production
  • Manages daily kitchen production and food preparation for timely service
  • Directs preparation and service of all menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and food safety
  • Oversees organization and sanitation of dining rooms and kitchen areas

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years full-service experience
  • Minimum of 6 months supervisory and coaching experience
  • Ability to work some weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures
