The Coordinator of Infection Prevention at Henderson Hospital will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining the Infection Control Program, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients. Key Responsibilities
Assist with implementation and maintenance of the Infection Control Program
Conduct hospital surveillance related to infection control
Serve as a resource to all hospital departments on infection control projects
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Clinical Microbiology, or other health-related science
Two to five years clinical experience in health-related field
Current State of Nevada license in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences, or other related health science
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s in Nursing, Education, Epidemiology, Public Health, Clinical Microbiology or other health-related science
One year experience in Infection Prevention or epidemiology
Eligible to become certified in Infection Prevention within two years of employment
