Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as an Electrical Engineering Technologist and play a vital role in designing electrical systems for manufacturing welding machines. Key Responsibilities
Modify solutions to improve equipment reliability and compliance
Provide technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT
Maintain and update PLC, VFD, and HMI programs
Update and support National Instruments LabVIEW code
Interface with other teams for facility projects
Apply NEC knowledge for planning equipment installations
Supply project leaders with cost estimates and timelines
Lead projects and solve complex problems
Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
Integrate equipment into data collection systems
Compile data from connected devices for organizational use
Identify additional responsibilities aligned with company goals
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
3+ years of professional experience
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical CAD software
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and test equipment
Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, and 79
Knowledge of basic networking concepts and SQL Database
