Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (Neuro ICU) is responsible for evaluating, planning, and delivering exceptional patient care in collaboration with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. The RN utilizes critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practices to provide safe and effective care for critically ill patients, with a focus on neurological conditions. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs and clinical priorities. Identify patient problems, determine priorities, and develop individualized plans of care. Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the care of critically ill patients. Continuously assess patient condition, response to treatment, and modify care plans accordingly. Provide comprehensive and compassionate support to patients and families. Advocate for and implement evidence-based practice standards and innovations in care delivery. Collaborate effectively with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality outcomes. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with hospital standards. Perform other related duties as assigned. Assignment Details: Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts per week Contract Length: 13 weeks Weekends: Every other weekend required Holidays: Required Call: None Requirements: Experience: Minimum 2+ years of strong ICU/CCU experience — Neuro ICU experience required Float Requirements: Must be willing to float to Tele/Stepdown (4W or 5N) – maximum of 4 Tele patients when floated Licensure: Active RN license (state or compact) Certifications: BLS (AHA) – Required ACLS (AHA) – Required Skills: Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication skills
