Job Description

Join the Hayward Wellness Center as a Board Eligible Pediatrician, where you will provide compassionate, culturally competent care to a diverse patient population. Work alongside a dedicated team to deliver quality medical services and improve health outcomes in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional medical services to patients
  • Assist in administrative and professional direction of medical specialty service
  • Supervise Mid-level Practitioners/Certified Nurse Midwives
  • Practice evidence based medicine
  • Manage patient flow and provide cost-effective care
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to improve quality of care
  • Teach patients and provide counseling services

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an approved residency in an appropriate specialty
  • Current valid license to practice medicine in California
  • Board Certification or Board Eligible in area of specialty
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI)
  • Basic Life Support Certification from American Heart Association
  • Valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Number
