*Overview* As the Imaging Lead at Tennova Healthcare - Clarksville you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients.The Imaging Lead is responsible for overseeing the imaging operations within the organization. This role involves managing a team of imaging specialists, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring high-quality imaging services. The Imaging Lead will also be tasked with developing and implementing imaging protocols, maintaining imaging equipment, and staying updated with the latest advancements in imaging technology.
*Duties* * Assists Imaging Director with daily operations of all Imaging areas as needed. * Ensures flow of work is organized and efficient and arrange coverage for staffing priorities. * Monitors customer satisfaction indicators and respond to compliments and concerns. * Responds to concerns promptly and in a fair manner and resolutions are communicated. * Ensures staffing assignments are written and distributed in advance using the right people with the right skills in the right place * Provides input to employee hiring, counseling, and annual reviews. * Provides useful, impartial, constructive feedback and performance expectations and Ensure input for annual reviews are done on time. * Coordinates new staff (or on-call staff) orientation. * Participates in resolving employee conflicts. Provide correction/guidance, give feedback through appropriate medium (verbal vs. written) in a timely and clear manner. Assist with a resolution that is timely and helpful to all parties involved. * Responds to staff concerns promptly and assist with concerns fairly. * Monitors productivity with Imaging Director and adjust staffing as needed. * Builds schedules in time & attendance and approve time cards and Vacation/PTO requests. * Monitors Picture Archive Communication System (PACS) and make corrections as needed, maintain * Staff permissions/access, and keep imaging codes up-to-date. Build new test patients as needed in PACS. * Monitors to make sure changes are posted correctly on procedure charges. * Schedules and monitors health equipment physics review and state inspections. * Coordinates pilot projects while clearly communicating and introducing the new processes into the department/unit * Keeps Imaging Director apprised of patient complaints and any staff issues. * Ensures communications are clear and concise. * Serves as an expert resource to staff. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Complies with all policies and standards.
*Qualifications* * Associate Degree graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology required * 1-3 years Radiologic Technologist experience. required * 1-2 years Previous lead or supervisory experience. preferred
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities* * Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work accurately while meeting multiple deadlines. * Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. * Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with critical thinking and professional composure. * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, healthcare professionals and vendors. * Basic computer skills. * Ability to use initiative and independent judgment. * Knowledge of radiation safety and protection procedures.
*Licenses and Certifications* * ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required and * Licensed Radiologic Technologist As required by state required and * BCLS - Basic Life Support required
