Job Description
Join the ASPCA as a Lead Veterinarian and make a difference in the lives of animals and their owners. You will lead a dedicated team, provide high-quality care in underserved communities, and help foster a culture of compassion and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee medicine and surgery at the ASPCA’s CVC
Train veterinarians in HQHVSN techniques
Support a positive work culture
Perform high-quality spay/neuter surgeries
Provide preventive and basic care to patients
Administer medical consultations as needed
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Preferred Qualifications
Previous people management experience
