Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently performs advanced diagnostic ultrasound procedures Acts as a clinical mentor for junior staff and students Verifies physician orders and procedures for accuracy Explains procedures to patients for understanding Operates equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol Reviews patient images for diagnostic quality Completes quality control procedures Facilitates departmental operations Required QualificationsCompletion of a CAHEA approved formal training program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or registry eligible (required within 1 year of hire) Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications2 years Sonographer experience Advanced certification in area(s) of specialty according to facility need Benefits & Perks$20K Sign On Bonus Available
