Job Description
Join Kaiser as a Licensed Masters Mental Health Professional to provide comprehensive mental health services for children and adolescents. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans while offering vital support to families.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate clinical treatment programs
Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups
Instruct and counsel patients and families on therapeutic regimens
Prepare intake summaries, treatment plans, and maintain confidential records
Collaborate with physicians for psychotropic medication evaluations
Supervise Post Masters Fellows and Associate Clinical Social Workers as needed
Utilize resources from public and private agencies for member treatment
Required Qualifications
Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare from a clinical track, Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related field
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (California) OR Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (California) AND Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Couples and Families Endorsement (California) within 24 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Familiarity with DSM-V
Experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards
Preferred Qualifications
Previous post-license experience as a member of a psychiatric treatment team
Previous clinical responsibility including crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity
Demonstrated commitment to quality of service and teamwork
Ability to complete multiple tasks/objectives in a timely manner
