Unit Notes

**ALL ppw due WEDNESDAY at NOON MST the week before start** *Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from the facility location - # suites: 9 - # of cases per day: 30 - Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?): BLS, TNCC or ACLS, CNOR - Common Cases: Neuro- cranis, burr holes, spinal cord stimulators, kyphos, Ortho- orif, joint replacement- knee and hip some shoulder. Vascular, Open heart, GYN, GU, ENT, Mako-ortho, Mazor, Da Vinci. No peds. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: versatility in doing Davinci, totals, general surgery. Some vascular preferred. - Scrubbing required - RN's: Preferred- If they have the experience, that would be great. - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Charge nurse - OR techs: Surgical techs - EMR: Epic - Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 8,10 or 12. Can be flexible with hours. 0700-1730 for 10 hour shifts. Will have some variable shifts 10-10 - Weeknight/Call Requirements: 7-10 call shifts per month (this is including 1 weekend of call) - Weekend/Call Requirements: 24 hour call Saturday/ Sunday - One weekend per month - Holiday/Call Requirements: Will be expected to take call - What is call response time?: 30 minutes - Floating Requirements: None - Scrub Color/Dress Code: provided - Unit/Department specific orientation: 2 weeks with a preceptor. - Additional Notes: Traveler friendly facility.
