Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Ontario, Ohio (zip 44906) – Ohio nursing jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Labor & Delivery Unit
• Contract Length: 18 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 3/30/2026)
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880–$2020
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• On-Site Position
• Call Requirement: Must be able to arrive within 1 hour when called in
• Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd weekend
• Floating: May be required to float to Bucyrus and Galion campuses

Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent, continuous Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Active Ohio or compact state Registered Nurse license (required upon submission)
• NRP certification required; willingness to obtain STABLE certification if not already held
• Recent travel nursing experience within the last year preferred
• Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Smoke-free healthcare facility and campus
• Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-start modules via HealthStream required

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor and support mothers through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to on-call needs and float to Bucyrus and Galion campuses as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Epic EHR (preferred)
• Comply with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards

Important: No holiday time off will be approved during the contract period. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work every 3rd weekend.
