Join Pilgrim's as a Live Receiving Supervisor on the Night Shift and play a crucial role in leading a dedicated team. You will oversee departmental operations, drive process improvements, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while offering opportunities for employee growth.
Key Responsibilities
Hires, trains, coaches, and motivates employee team members
Directs and monitors the operations of the department
Promotes department and company goodwill through proactive employee communication
Schedules people, materials, and equipment effectively
Responsible for the performance evaluation process for the department
Promotes safe work habits and conducts safety audits
Facilitates the development and implementation of departmental goals and budget
Required Qualifications
Considerable knowledge of process operations and practices
Considerable knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures
Strong ability to analyze and solve production problems
Ability to lead and coach employees and projects
Good English verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills required
Valid Pilgrim’s Pallet jack license or ability to obtain license within 30 days
Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university
Bi-lingual skills desired
Intermediate skills in spreadsheet and word processing
Conflict management skills
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of cultural issues
Good math aptitude
Basic mechanical knowledge
