This is a professional-level sales position supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. The role is responsible for the profitable growth of the commercial business through customer retention and expansion. It involves partnering with the GM to manage team members, possessing expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, sourcing from various channels, and directing drivers for timely deliveries. This is a full-time position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain commercial customer relationships
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
- Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
- Support day-to-day supervision of team members
- Collaborate with GM on coaching and development
- Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards
- Maintain commercial stocking programs
- Build and sustain a network of second source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain core bank and commercial returns
- Manage commercial credit accounts
- Partner with GM to ensure proper driver coverage

- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of commercial profitability concepts
- Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed
Prior Experience
Minimum of 3 years in automotive parts sales preferred, with proven sales ability and team leadership experience.
Education
High school diploma or GED required.
Certificates
ASE certification preferred but not required.
Physical Demands
Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Visual and physical dexterity are required.
Work Environment
Primarily indoor work, with occasional outdoor tasks in various weather conditions. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise is possible.
Position is eligible for sales commissions based on performance.
Compensation Range
$19.95 - $21.95 per hour
